To Me: Embracing the Light

I see myself as a confident individual—a trait I've held throughout my life. Yet, love has a way of reaching into the deepest parts of my mind and heart, illuminating the shadows of doubt and pain.

Despite my confidence, I experience moments of uncertainty. Questions often arise:

• Am I enough for him?
• Do I measure up intellectually?
• How do I appear in his eyes?

However, when love is genuine, these concerns vanish. There’s an undeniable presence between us that reassures me.

I realize I am enough—both for myself and for him. I possess intelligence and uniqueness, just as everyone does, flaws included. Love transforms the focus from “him” to a broader “we,” fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance.

For Me: Confidence through Love

True love instills in me a sense of genuine confidence. I don’t have all the answers; I’m not always at my best. I make mistakes and experience a range of emotions, even when I strive for positivity.

This love empowers me to push my limits, to step out of my comfort zone, and to confront challenges that once intimidated me.

Perhaps I am capable enough to explore new opportunities or tackle unexpected problems. Maybe I can continue growing and learning, even when faced with difficulties.

Real love inspires my personal growth. It encourages me to reach for the stars—where my children laugh, where my father watches over me, and where my ancestors provide guidance.

Ultimately, I affirm that real love is the most significant blessing in my life.

Outside of my children, family—both biological and chosen—my health, and friendships, love stands out as the most fulfilling experience. It’s a joy to both give and receive love and to witness how it has transformed me for the better.

Real love does not just touch my life; it propels me to truly live.
